Foundations in Accountancy (FIA)
The previously known Certified Accounting Technician (CAT) programme has been modified and restructured by ACCA and renamed as Foundations in Accountancy (FIA). The FIA consists of a suite of qualifications and eventually ends with the Certified Accounting Technician (CAT) qualification. This suite of qualifications is designed to equip you with all the necessary technical skills and knowledge required to work with accounts and accounts department of any organization. Whether you wish to start a career in finance, gain recognition or acquire skills in accountancy you will have already achieved it, or, just wanted acceleration to ACCA professional scheme, then FIA will be the answer for you.

The FIA Programme
The entire FIA programme comprises of four qualifications:
Introductory Certificate in Financial and Management Accounting
Intermediate Certificate in Financial and Management Accounting Level
Diploma in Accounting and Business Level
Certified Accounting Technician (CAT)
Progression Route
When opting for an educational programme, it is always important for a student to be aware of how he/she shall progress within the programme in terms of the qualifications. Deadlines
